About

Dating With Darwin is a novel dating platform with two missions:

1) To have fun teaching you about love and relationships based on science — from evolution to modern day psychology, and…

2) A dating platform where users get to show-off, and be matched by, what they have learned in the courses!  As users take more and more of the 10 on-demand and video courses, they all get closer to “speaking the same language”: The Science of Love!

Valerie Kosheleff MS, the Founder of Dating With Darwin and main instructor, is an evolutionary biologist, primatologist with a specialty in wild chimpanzees. Her graduate work at the Jane Goodall Research Center at The University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA, involved a focus on mating behavior and sexual selection in chimpanzees. Her original research on how temperature affects wild chimpanzee behavior is published in the American Journal of Physical Anthropology.

Dating With Darwin is the culmination of Valerie’s graduate work, her passion to teach people to care for the environment and concurrently improve their own lives, and the need to fund her nonprofit project, Save A Horny Friend, to fight the poaching of rhinos, elephants and many other horned and non-horned species.  Thus, Dating With Darwin was conceived to be a Public Benefit Corporation that teaches to first understand our nature from an evolutionary perspective, then to enjoy themselves and respect nature around us, and lastly to care for nature, by directing a useful part of its profits to wildlife conservation projects. When humans connect with nature, they become whole, and Dating With Darwin will guide the way to a more loving world with more humans connected to themselves and nature!
